auto lock 'never' option is missing

Okay so I went ahead and removed both my School account and Work account (both signed in through Exchange). Restarted the settings application again and still the “Never” option is not available under Auto Lock. Any other suggestions??

Restart your phone.

I don't think it has anything to do with the iOS versioning. (See all the discussions in this thread above.)

I don't have a work/school email on my phone at all and the auto lock option is blocked out. Is there any suggestion on how to fix this?

I agree with @Lawrence Finch, @FedericoV62 is venting and barking up the wrong tree.

You found the right solution. And yes, sometimes turning something on and off can fix a problem.

Really Apple needs to give us a 30 or 60 minute option. I think that would solve a lot of the time issues and still not have the phone sitting around unlocked for hours on end.

I don’t understand any of this. This is my own phone, and I am the person who uses it. But with a black screen you can’t. None of these settings are there. Is the iPad dead?

Me, too. It makes no sense. And it won’t charge.

I have this same problem on my iPad no accounts are attached to this.
