Simply wait for the macOS update to sort this issue.

Typically you only run the Diagnostic if you are having a hardware issue—otherwise why waste your time—as the saying goes, 'If it ain't broke don't fix it.'

I can tell you the user run Diagnostic is not the same as Apple's back-bench AST (Apple Service Toolkit) diagnostic—it is certainly more comprehensive than anything you can sort out locally anyway.

If you suspect you have a hardware issue— this is only resolved by sending it in—so I really don't get your angst here to fan the flames of a non-issue. You have a warranty for 1-year to cover any hardware issues associated with your new Mac.

Hello, my issue is I can not run this diagnostic test on my MacBook M1 Pro, I wanted to be pro active and run a test to make sure everything is running as it should, and also how Apple themselves say that I can do this, but I can not, I payed over £1000 for this Apple Laptop, and it would be really great if the diagnostic test that is on my laptop would work, thank-you for any help with regards to this. Surely it's not a problem that can't be solved, did apple run a simple test to see if it worked first, before releasing and selling the M1 Pro Mac Book?
