No manner if trying to reset another remote works, but I wonder has anyone had any success trying the aluminum old school aluminum "apple remote" on the AppleTV in this instance to hit the 'ok' button in the privacy screen?
Actually yes, this will work, because I was able to use my Samsung 'smart' remote to configure itself for an appletv and I was able to get past the "OK" screen on the privacy page, it just wont pair a Siri (bluetooth) remote but an IR remote will work here. PROBLEM SOLVED!
