My Migration assistant stopped 15 mins to completion. Is there anything I can do to complete the migration and not lose all the content? This is part of a process to up upgrade using an SSD. My old HD is UDB connected to my Mackbook.

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with Migration Assistant. We see you came from Move your content to a new Mac. How are you connected to the internet? are you seeing an error message? As the resource mentions, large transfers might need several hours to complete. If you are using WiFi, it could be that it is unable to transfer all the data. You might want try connecting via ethernet or Thunderbolt. Check out Transfer your information to Mac from another computer or device. You also want to make sure both devices are up to date. What macOS version on they running?

I’m not using Wifi. My old hard drive is connected by USB to the Macbook and it was displaying that message for 24hrs. I disconnected snd tried again and will see what happens
Doing the same thing again. Just stopped transferring data...
