why don’t I receive a confirmation email from apple when I cancel a subscription?

Trouble canceling a subscription Hi, I got an email recently saying my Quizlet subscription will renew on this Tuesday, and I want to cancel the renewal, but when I go to Subscriptions in Settings on my iPhone there's no Cancel Subscription button shown, which supposedly means the auto renew is turned off. If that's true, then why is Quizlet sending me an email saying I'm about to get charged again? I tried logging into my Quizlet account and it's just giving me error messages. >-( What should I do, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Are you supposed to? I don't know, I have never canceled one. It doesn't say you do here --> How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support
