Kensington Trackball frozen after sleep

I am running the latest version of MAC OS and Kensington software and this problem was driving me insane. I talked to the Kensington phone help and they could not figure out a solution.

I finally figure out that turning of

When the display is sleeping and

When the screen is locked

in Notification: Do Not Disturb in System Preferences solved my problem.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Freeze on lock screen while Macbook connects to external monitor I've updated to macOS Ventura official release after it releases directly, As an office worker, I usually use my laptop with an external monitor, mouse, and keyboard. The issue is that if I left my device in sleep mode, it just freezes on the lock screen, and requires me to make a hard shutdown to be able to use it again. I've installed fresh macOS Ventura through recovery mode hoping this might fix the issue but it's not, the issue keeps happening.

Mac Mini and Kensington Track Ball Pro still freezing on Apple12.1 I have a new Kensington Track ball Pro which freezes the pointer when left alone with Apple 12.1. Responsiveness can be restored by unplugging and reconnecting the Track Ball USB cable from the Mac Mini so I suspect the problem is not huge, but the problems seems to be rattling around for the last year or more. The cursor simply stops responding, seemingly after having left at idle for a short time. Can someone not add a reset loop or some such?? I am going to wear out a USB socket if this keeps up.
