MacBook Video Speed Up Robotic Sound

Hi Everyone,

I have the robotic sound issue on my m1 MacBook air. It's happening both on youtube videos and videos on my mac while playing with QuickTime. When I speed up the video, the sound getting robotic.

Also, this sound issue not happening on IpadPro(2nd Gen). The sound does not change when I speed up a video on youtube.

There are some similar questions in the community but there is no answer for the problem. Hope someone can help on this!

Speed up video playback causes robotic sounding audio Anybody knows what causes this issue? When you adjust YouTube videos to 1.25x or even 2x speed, the audio will sound robotic and tinny. Is it something apple can fix? This isn't a YouTube issue. Even on Safari and other video players this issue persists. It just makes the watching experience less appealing on iOS. I heard even on macos this is a problem.

MacBook Pro 13-Inch M1 I have Noticed that the Speakers on my M1 MacBook Pro 13 Inch are much quieter then the MacBook Air M1. I must have the Volume all the way up for it to be normal sounding but on my MacBook air I can have it in the middle, and it sounds the same as my MacBook pro at full volume. Is this a Issue?

Macbook pro (intel) sound issue while using video conferencing app Hi there, Every time I'm using zoom, google meet, teams, or any other video conferencing app after a few minutes the sound is gone and I need to go to the app setting under sound/speakers and bring it back by selecting another option and reselect the mac speakers again. If it's an in-browser app, I will need to mute and unmute the tab in order for the sound to be back. Any input on this will be much appreciated! Thanks mk
