Messages not saving to iCloud. Icon is toggled to save to cloud

Messages are not actually saved in iCloud. If you use Messages with iCloud, the messages are synced with iCloud. If you delete a text on your device and expect it to be saved and still available in iCloud, that’s not how it works. If you delete a message on the device, it is also deleted in iCloud.
