Any way to change the mouse to different icon? Just wondering went into accessibility pointer control do not see any options to change mouse to anything else?

The shape of the cursor is determined by the OS or applications, depending on context (for example, it changes to a beam when editing text). There is no way for the user to change the cursor.
If you don't mind my asking, why are you trying to change the cursor? Any usability reason, or just personal taste?

There is no way for a user to customize the cursor.
It is unclear what you are trying to do. You speak of an "icon", but it seems to me that you are actually talking about the shape of the cursor onscreen. You CAN change the size of the cursor in System Preferences->Accessibility->Cursor:
