How do I remove the calendar virus from my Apple Watch? I had reset my phone so no longer getting notifications there but they are still coming up on my watch. Thank you.

I know exactly when it happened. I was trying to log into my HBO Max account and the Capcha kept giving me an error saying it detected I was a Robot. Then it flashed a gazillion times and I started receiving nonstop notifications.
When I look on my phone, I don’t see it there and therefore can’t unsubscribe from it.
My watch is set to Mirror my phone, yet it definitely isn’t since the notifications are not showing on my phone.

You have to remove the offending calendar(s) from your iPhone; your Watch will synch automatically with your phone and you won't be bothered anymore. Please see the Apple-provided link at the top of this page: Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone
There’s no “virus” here. No “malware”. There’s a far more mundane calendar subscription here.
You have probably also reset your iPhone for little or no benefit, unfortunately.
What happened? On some website, you were offered a calendar, subscribed to it, and now no longer want it.
Your calendar subscription may still be in place after the iPhone reset, too.
Use the above info from the previous reply; look in the list of subscribed calendars on your iPhone using the Calendar app, and remove the subscribed calendar.
Once removed from the iPhone, it’ll also be removed from the paired Watch, and from other devices sharing the same Apple ID and sharing iCloud calendar data.
Thank you so much! I finally figured out the offending calendars and removed them. All good now. Thanks again!
You are welcome!
