If you have an Airplay-2 capable TV you can stream HBO Max to the TV. However, if you win such a TV, you should be able to download the HBO Max app in the TV itself, assuming that it is available where you live.

You can also connect the iPad to the TV with an HDMI cable but you will need an adapter.
