MacBook Pro won’t detect internal speakers or mic My laptop uses macOS High Sierra with an intel processor. It stopped detecting my internal speakers and mic. First, it would if I restarted the computer. Then that didn’t work so I had to do a NVRAM reset each time. Now that does not work. There is no red light coming out of the jack.

Hi,

If you mean built-in speakers and mic, resetting NVRAM could solve sound related issue.
