My Apple iPad will not download whatsapp

The WhatApp developers have not released an App compatible with iPad - the App being currently limited to iPhone.

Whilst the App is not available for iPad - you should be able to access the service using a web browser:

WhatsApp is not yet available on the iPad. I was reading an article recently that mentioned that WhatsApp is working on an iPad version but a timeframe was not mentioned.
