Apple diagnostic does not work on Big Sur 11.4 (Intel MacBook Pro - 2020)

Yeah, I have the same laptop and the same thing is happening to me. I got through the language selection screen but after that the screen is just stuck and nothing is happening. It was working before I updated my laptop so idk.

I tried to ask apple support but even they couldn't figure it out and said to send it in for repairs

Same, mine too (besides the diagnostics tool part lol). I think I'm just going to wait a while and then maybe send it in if there are more problems. I read on some other thread that other people are also facing this issue, so maybe its common after all (sorry I don't have the link to that thread)

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If you have an issue beyond the diagnostic—state what the issue is...
