My iPhone 12 silent the keyboard keys and lock sounds

I get a brand new iPhone 12 (only three days of use) since the first day and for non any reason (Do Not Disturb mode off) stop making keyboard and lock sounds (in Settings > Sounds and Haptics these options are turn on). In a website a read a “possible solution” to go to Settings > Sounds and Haptics > Keyboard Clicks and Lock Sound options and move the toggle button from turn on to turn off many times... I tried it but didn’t work.

The only way they start to do the sounds again is switching the Ring/Silent button to mute and then switch back to initial position.

My concern is that I’m not sure if this issue is a glitch of the iOS or if my iPhone is damage.

Hi there Jackorax,

We understand you're experiencing an issue with your iPhone 12 not making sounds for the keyboard or when locking, and we'd like to see if we can assist.

If the issue is not resolved by toggling the Ring/Silent switch in the future, give the steps here a try: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

Regards.
