mac safari reeder offline not working

Cannot use Safari reader offline in MAC Big Sur. I've checked auto download in preferences/advanced. I see the article in sidebar reader, can see it fine when on line. When offline all I see is attempt to connect to web.

Quit Safari. Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.


Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Reading List > Save articles for offline reading

Disable and re-enable it back.
