Keyboard not appearing on Passcode change prompt

I'm suddenly getting Passcode change prompt. But when I touch the password field no keyboard shows up and as a result the phone is unusable. Please help. I also have other keyboards installed, I'm not sure if that's the reason for it. Thank you.

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Thank you. The second option worked for me. The first option was not possible as the passcode change prompt was blocking me to do the swipe to switch off the phone.
