Terminal App Font Settings (Typography: Stylistic Sets) Not Working

I would like to use an alternate stylistic set of a particular font as the font for my default profile in the Terminal application. I have gone into Settings > Profiles > Font > Change... and selected the icon in the upper left corner to modify the font features:

I checked Stylistic Set 1, which should have a slashed zero rather than a dotted zero, but there is no effect in the terminal window:

I have tried restarting the application and restarting the computer but without success. How can I apply the typographical features to the font in the terminal window?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4
