Face ID

I updated my Iphone 12 pro max to iOS 14.6 and now my face ID doesn’t work. I reset it and it keeps telling me to move my phone lower or higher until it just says it is unavailable. How do I fix this?

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Once you've completed these steps, try setting Face ID up again. If you're still experiencing issues afterward, you'll need to get in touch with an Apple specialist to investigate the issue further. You may reach them directly at Get Support.
