How do I restore the shutter sound to my iPhone 12 ?

Restart the phone
Turn mute switch from red to black
Gi to home screen and press vol up to increase ringer/shutter sound volume
yes it does, above Vol Up button
It shows red when muted.
If the phone rings but the camera makes no noise then take it in for attention.
If you want to put the shutter sound back ON then

This did not solve my question …. I followed your idea but still no CLICK sound plus I have a red iPhone 12
and it doesn’t have a black switch
if the phone does not ring, check for bluetooth connections like headphones.
