mac mini dual monitor issue with 2 usbc connected monitors

So I can connect 1 or the other but not both via DVI->USB-C. If I connect and boot 1 or the other it is fine, however if both are connected the 2nd monitor isnt detected.

Thanks

Mac mini, macOS 11.4

The new Mac Mini only supports one monitor from a USB-C port and one from the HDMI port

If both of monitors only support VGA and DVI?

Then you need to connect the second to the HDMI port using an HDMI to DVI adapter.

for example > https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MJVU2AM/A/apple-hdmi-to-dvi-adapter

Also note that some aftermarket HDMI to DVI adapters will work and some will not.
