Maps often calls out the local road number, like "Turn left on County Road 38" rather than saying "Turn Left on Rodeo Drive". I occasionally use 2 other nav apps, and neither of them do this on these same roads... so I know the road names are well known & documented.
Is this a setting? How can I get maps to call out names rather than the numbers?
If not currently available, please change

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, the Maps app isn't announcing road names as expected. We'll do our best to assist with this.
We checked all settings within the Apple Maps app and determined there wasn't any related settings for guidance. The app should provide the road name instead of the road number. If this seems to happen often, then you can report the issue.
