Is there ANY possible way to reset an iMac desktop that is locked? And yes it belongs to me

Is it possible to unlock an iMac desktop that passcode is locked on screen ?

1) Try the usual password reset methods. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212190

2) Say goodby to your data, force restart into recovery mode, erase the drive, and reinstall MacOS.

3) If there is a forgotten firmware password or find-my lock blocking an erase/reinstall take it to an Apple Store along with proof of purchase from an authorized reseller.
