Does Lossless Audio/ Dolby Atmos work while using CarPlay?
If I have lossless audio on and plug my phone into CarPlay.. will I still get the benefits?

Per the article you found, About lossless audio in Apple Music - Apple Support, this impacts the track itself. So as long as your speakers are capable of playing that content then it will be available. So we'd recommend checking with your car manufacturer to check if your speakers are compatible with Dolby Atmos.
