The "Home" option is not listed in iCloud my account. How do I have that "installed?"

And why is it so difficult to update the settings on the mini? Makes it a chore when traveling.

The first-gen Home Pod is a pain to change. I have named it "stoner" as it never works correctly even at home.

Can't enable iCloud for Home I'm trying to set up a HomePod Mini. I'm asked on my iPhone screen to turn on iCloud for Home. Whenever I press Continue, nothing happens. When I try to manually enable iCloud for Home in my phone's iCloud Settings, the switch will not turn on. I am able to turn on iCloud for Home on my iPad, which is on the same network and signed into the same iCloud account. Any ideas how to fix? I know I could just set up the HomePod with iPad but am thinking having iCloud for Home set up on the phone will be important when using the HomePod.

how do you update a new HomePod mini to 16.2 if you can't add it to Home with architecture update? I just bought a new HomePod mini, on sale at Best Buy. I have already updated my Home and all my devices to the new architecture, 16.2. The new HomePod must have an older os installed. I can't add the HomePod to my Home because of the older os, but I can't update the os without adding it to my Home. It stops me when I enter my iCloud password.

What do you mean by it’s not listed? Do you have the Home App installed on your iOS device?

On your iOS device look in Settings > iCloud > Home- make sure it’s enabled
Try rebooting your wifi to help with them not working
