Why is there no sound on CarPlay map?

I have also started experiencing this problem with my Ranger Rover. Music plays fine and even pauses for spoken Maps instructions. Instead of instructions I get silence. My wife and daughters phones also exhibit the same problem. Seems to coincide with a resent Apple iOS update.

I am having the same issue in my Jaguar F-Pace.
