I purchased some airtags to put onto many things, I am wanting to share the family members like we do for location but I cannot find where to share. Please help

"An AirTag can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use an AirTag that someone else has used, they need to remove the AirTag from their Apple ID first. If the previous user removed the AirTag from their Apple ID but they were out of Bluetooth range of the AirTag, then you need to reset it before you can use it with your devices."

The only why I found can you on more than one iPhone is when both got same Apple ID

This is absolutely idiotic that you can’t share among family members.
Got AirTags for dogs and luggage and now my wife can’t use her phone to locate either.

If it doesn’t meet your needs, don’t loose track of Apple’s 14-day return window.
I bought these for my family for safety and the ability to locate keys and my teens when driving. It seems like a waste if I can only see my keys' location and not the rest of my families. We share all of our apple service and products and this makes no sense. Apple please update this to include family sharing.
Exactly the same situation we have
if I'm abroad my wife and daughter can't find our cats
apple can't realistically suggest each cst / set of car keys etc should have 3 tags
how come we can all track each other's phones, macs, earbuds etc but not a tag which is designed to be tracked - in fact - it is it's only purpose
why doesn't Apple respond to these questions

I agree with everyone here. I don't understand why family members cannot track family airtags, it makes no sense. As others have said, I have them on my dogs. What if I am away from home and my family needs to find the dog? As long as we give permission, I can't imagine why this doesn't work like all other "find my" items.
