Come on guys this is something that needs to be added. It drives my wife crazy when we get into ANY of our vehicles as each has an Airtag for tracking and when it's not recognized the airtag beeps. So much for letting the bad guys know about it too! Need to tweak some of the features for when multiple people need to utilize the same airtag weather it's family or just sharing one. Then yes I get you don't want unauthorized tracking but when you have authorized on your own vehicle but still have the tag beep when it moves that alerts the bad guy and if they find it out the window it goes.

These are just some of the things that I feel need to be updated in the next update. So, when either of us get in any of our cars the apple device knows it's one of us and doesn't just arbitrarily start beeping. Hopefully, you can add these features in. Thx

Aside from the rubbish bit of not being able to share location with someone - how rubbish is this….. so the ‘person’ who finds (or steals) the item receives a message to say they have an AirTag item on their iPhone! But the person whose it is doesn’t receive a message to say someone has it! So many loopholes in this device, glad I only bought 1 of them it’s rubbish! And YES I have reported it properly

I think you miss the point. Sharing is not just desirable -- it's mission critical.

If i am incommunicado (in court, say) and my wife is looking for our dog, she has no way to make use of its tag until I again get access to my cell phone. Might be many hours. If I'm on a flight to Europe, perhaps 12 hours or more.

Apple needs to allow tag owners to share their tags with whomever they wish. The usefulness of the tag is greatly reduced or even eliminated by the lack of sharing. The alternatives are to tag everything twice at $50 per instance, or simply use Tile.

Agreed this should be added.

Apple needs to add this to make it worth switching from tile. Most of my tracked items are shared with my wife.
