I purchased some airtags to put onto many things, I am wanting to share the family members like we do for location but I cannot find where to share. Please help

"An AirTag can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use an AirTag that someone else has used, they need to remove the AirTag from their Apple ID first. If the previous user removed the AirTag from their Apple ID but they were out of Bluetooth range of the AirTag, then you need to reset it before you can use it with your devices."

got airtag for my luggage when we travel. Was hoping to share to my husband the location of my luggage/airtag in case i lost my phone or run out of battery.
Echoing other users here who'd like to be able to share their airtags with other family members. Really annoying!
“Echoing” here might make you feel better, but beyond that it’s fairly futile effort.
However, a meaningful feedback mechanism IS available here:
Use case: air tag on dog's collar. Kids want to know where the dog is!
Besides the above use case, this is a HUGE miss by Apple.

Same here that we have the AirTag on our dog. I just submitted feedback to Apple and hope others do too.

That is the only explanation for not allowing family or friends to not also have authorization to track an air tag, to sell more air tags. I have this exact same issue with our dog. Fix this Apple.

Not being able to share AirTag with my wife is utterly ridiculous. And thus I always receive warning that my wife's AirTag is traveling with me. This is literally a BUG, problem that must be fixed.
Apple, make sharing Air Tags via Find My with family members ASAP. I assumed it was possible, my mistake. Now I wonder why I bought them.
For my dog I would love my children to know where to find her. How in the world do I do this buy more AirTags or is there a better brand out there that we can share with?
Apple can just enable that feature. It can't be hard.
Why doesn't anyone from Apple monitor this board and support their paying customers?
AirTags are meant to be found... To remove that feature from the rest of the family makes no sense
