"Password Incorrect" keeps popping up on new iPhone 12

Every time I open Reminders on my new iPhone 12, I keep getting "Password Incorrect" pop ups asking me to enter the password for the CalDAV account "Google". I have entered my Google password but it doesn't stop the pop ups from continuing. I do sync my Apple calendar with my Google account calendar and don't want to lose that functionality. HELP!
