Will a Series 6 Watch purchased in the US work on cellular in Ireland? (Apple chat just told me "Yes," but I am seeing conflicting info online.)

Thanks. That's the info I found online, but Apple technical chat told me it would work. Sadly, I think the Apple chat person is giving out the wrong information.

A cellular watch bought in the US will only function in North America,Canada,Mexico and Puerto Rico anywhere else it will function as a GPS only watch.

Oh, interesting. Looks like the apple.ie site only sells the GPS version. So, maybe it doesn't matter if I purchase it in the US or in Ireland since either way it'll be GPS only, right?
Except for Warranty, a GPS only Apple Watch will work anywhere your iPhone works, which is pretty much anywhere you can get cellular service for your iPhone.
