Setting up new pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro 128GB
Hi all! Yesterday my wife brought me home a new iPhone 12 Pro. Last night I took the time to back up my phone at the time IPhone 8, and then start the setup process for my new 12. Both phones in hand, connected to strong WiFi signal and I started the process, prompt by prompt not skipping a beat. The phone turned on, my apps were there, my texts were there, I thought all was well. I’m now at a place in settings where it appears I can’t sign into Apple ID on the phone. When I click on SETTINGS, right at the top, under my name, it says, “Update Apple ID Settings” and it has a red circle next to it with the number 1 (as if there’s an update I need to manually take care of). Next, I’d click on that “prompt”, so to speak, and now it says “update Apple ID Settings- Some account services will not be available until you sign in again”. There’s a button that says “continue”. I’ll click continue and it’ll prompt me for my Apple ID password which I’ll enter.
After I put in my password the screen will just load and load and load as you seen and picture two, then stop and go back to what you seen in image 1 prompting me to click “continue” again and enter my password. The prompt with the red circle doesn’t go away either which means the process isn’t progressing. At this point I’m lost. I also noticed 20% of my photos backed up to my iPhone 12 as blank slates with no image. They were important baby pictures from our first/only child. Any help with these issues would be great. I’m ready to take the phone back with the accessories and go back to my 8.
