Apple Mail 14.0 on Big Sur sends email with just 'enter' key

Apple Mail 14.0 on Big Sur sends email with just 'enter' key. Just today i was composing an email and i pressed the enter key for a new line break. Apple mail sent it.


During the same email, i pressed enter for line breaks more than 5 times and all was good.


Sometimes it sends, sometimes it doesnt. No way of telling. can someone help me please.

Macbook Air 2020 on Big Sur 11.4 here.

Quit Mail.

Launch Mail holding the shift key down.


Startup in Safe mode. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262

To leave Safe Mode, choose “Restart” at the bottom.

Quote:

     Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software when it starts up, including login items, 

     system extensions not required by macOS,

     and fonts not installed by macOS. It  also does a basic check of your startup disk, 

     similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility


     And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache, 


     which will be created again automatically as needed.
