Can you connect RCA stereo to Mac Mini with HDMI?

I have a Mac Mini (2018) and I'm looking to buy a decent little speaker system for it. Is there a way to connect speakers which only have an RCA input to it? My HDMI port is free as my monitor connects to one of the usbc ports. If possible I'd like to go through there rather than having to use the headphone jack. If it helps the speakers I'm looking at are the Edifier R1280T or R1280DB. The DB speakers have Bluetooth but they are the slightly more expensive option and I've had some failings with Bluetooth connectivity before. They are a back up plan so to speak if the RCA thing proves impossible.
