New phone number but can’t send pic messages or FaceTime
I got a new phone number same phone but it won’t let me get messages or FaceTime with this phone

Try following all the steps here:
Settings, Messages, turn off iMessage.
Settings, FaceTime, turn off FaceTime
Restart the phone
Turn them both back on
In this case the OP already had a number registered to both. It is necessary to de-register the old number by turning off iMessage and FaceTime first.
