Only 1 computer is authorized but itunes keeps saying 5of 5 authorized

Only 1 computer is authorized and showing in my account screen. but itunes keeps saying 5 of 5 authorized when i try to play certain songs.

If you are trying to authorise your current computer, but the message tells you that you already have five authorised and so cannot authorise this one, go to your account and De-Authorise All, then authorise just the new one. Instructions are given in the document you came from, linked at the top of this discussion.


However, if the message tells you that the particular song (or songs) is not (are not) authorised, and you get repeated requests to do so, that indicates that the song file is faulty. In that case, delete the download and re-download it from the iTunes Store.


By the way, if you have used up all five of your computer authorisations, that may be due to your existing computer being repaired and old computers that you did not de-authorise before getting rid of them.
