Connecting iPhone or iPad to iTunes

Hi I need help connecting my iPad or iPhone for a backup on my MAC. It doesn't seem to be recognized or visible. The iTunes is no longer an option it is now under music. I am using Big Sur. Any advise ?? This is really frustrating :(

In Big Sur, the devices will appear in Finder.
