How to delete songs from old ipod nano and add new ones?

I am trying to delete songs from an ipod nano. I no longer have the computer I used originally. My new MacBook recognizes the ipod, but won't sync up new songs and won't let me delete any songs that are on the ipod. Any ideas?

Hi, IsaKolp, and thanks for reaching out. We understand that you need some direction on syncing your iPod. We'll be glad to help out.

Your iPod can only be synced with one library at a time. In order to edit what's currently on your iPod, you would need to sync it with your current computer's library. Keep in mind, that this will remove all content from your iPod, and you'll need to re-sync content to it from your current computer.

We hope this clears things up for you.

Cheers!
