Is there an adapter I can use to plug my usb printer and scanner into my lightening ports on my new iMac?

Connect printer to USB-A port or use adaptor for Thunderbolt port? I have a LaserJet printer that connects to a USB-A port on my iMac. Same with my scanner. My iMac also has a few open Thunderbolt ports and I'm wondering if I were to use a USB-A to Thunderbolt adaptor for those two cables cable, and connect them to the Thunderbolt ports on my iMac, if I would notice any performance or speed improvements. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

USB 3 port adapters I have some older USB-A devices that won't connect to my new iMac (2021 M1). What sort of adapter would I need to connect them? (Printer, etc.) Thx

An USB-C to USB adapter

You can also get a dock from OWC computing to add more ports.

You need a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Like this:
