Is there a way to auto update my library to the best quality audio offered for each song?

Now that apple has released higher quality streaming and download options for Apple Music, is there a way to download my current library songs to the highest quality offered for that song?

song from library matched but library shows lower bit rate? I joined apple music and uploaded my library of music. Many are "matched" but use the old bit rate (96, 112, 128, 192) vs the Apple Music "matched" song of 256KB. The only way around seems to be to first delete the song from my library and then download the apple music one. Is that the only solution? Why doesn't Apple use the highest bit rate version of their library or mine?

Replace ripped songs in library with higher quality Apple versions? A long time ago I subscribed to iTunes Match. A couple of years ago I switched to Apple Music, that includes iTunes Match. I ripped all my CDs many years ago, and many of the songs were matched with songs already in Apple's library. Today I noticed that one of the ripped songs had been replaced in my library with a different version of the same song. While comparing the album in my library with the same album in the Apple Music library, I noticed that the Apple Music library offered lossless for this album, while my ripped version obviously did not support lossless. I manually replaced the album in my library with the version from Apple Music. I wonder, is there a way to replace songs in my library with higher quality versions, but otherwise identical recordings, from the Apple Music library? In this case, the Apple Music album also does not support Dolby Atmos. But for several other songs the Apple Music versions do support Dolby Atmos. Anyone ideas on how to update the music in my library?

Some Songs Won't Add to Music Library There are some songs for Apple Music that I am trying to add to my library but they don't. I click add and the circle spins for a couple seconds and doesn't add them. I have noticed these songs are showing up in my library in MPEG format but I am trying to add the Lossless files and they won't. Is there something I have to select/reset to allow the lossless version to download instead of the MPEG version?
