iPhone gets error playing some YouTube videos

Using a link (URL) in an email to access a video on YouTube. Some of the videos work well. Other videos get this error within a few seconds of starting:

--An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID ------) Learn More--

----

The videos were created on an iPhone, at about the same time, same device, and so on.

Video length is about 5 minutes.

Video plays correctly on a laptop with Windows10 + Chrome browser.

With limited testing, it appears that the video plays correctly on Android device.

Playback iPhone: -- iOS 14.6 -- Chrome browser as default --

(but problem also occurred using Safari on the phone.)

Problem occurs on WiFi and cell-service.

Seems like maybe the video works OK on SD (soon after upload); ...but when YouTube is done processing HD, then the problem happens.

---

YouTube processing of the uploaded video seems OK.

----

Can some "hidden problem" in the source video file be the cause of the playback problem...even after YouTube has processed and stored the video?

--

Thanks.

Thanks for the Reply.

I have used that Google support page before posting here. It did not solve the problem for me.

You mention it is a third-party program.

Well,...Hummm...the problem did occur on Safari browser on iPhone.

And also, the videos play correctly on several other environments.

So it at least "seems like" there is something "unique" about the iPhone.

I did solve the problem on some videos by using YouTube > Edit > Trim ..., ...removed a couple of seconds from the end of the video. I do not know what happens during/after the YouTube Trim, but it looks like it fixed the problem. I guess it might rewrite the video file, or something like that. And in that process perhaps eliminated something that the iPhone did not like.
