How do I increase the screen sharing timeout (30 sec then fade to black) when sharing on Big Sur?

When I use screen sharing on my Big Sur MacBook Air (2018) to view my Mojave iMac (2017), the iMac display that I am viewing fades to black after 30 seconds. Prior to updating the Air to Big Sur (it had Mojave), it would not do this 30 second timeout fade to black.

How do I change the 30 second timeout of screen sharing?

I'm ready to roll back my Air to Mojave since a 30 second timeout then fade to black is completely unacceptable on screen sharing.

Additional information: When I screen share from Big Sur to a High Sierra Mac Mini, I do not get the timeout. When I screen share from the High Sierra Mac Mini to the iMac, I DO get the timeout.

So it looks like the timeout period is on the iMac/Mojave side, and perhaps independent of my update of my Air to Big Sur.

Now the 30 second fade-to-black seems to have stopped.
