Apple Settings

When I try to log on to Update Apple ID Services on my new iPad, I put in the correct ID and all I get is continue with the little asterisk going round and round and it never updates. Any ideas?

Try completely shutting down the device for a few minutes. Then restart and skip setting up the Apple ID. Finish setting up the device and then set up the Apple ID.
