I have an old Iphone 5 that keeps dying after about 10 seconds. Even if the battery is a high percentage, it dies really quickly so the only I can go on my phone is to continuously charge it everytime. How do I fix the battery problem

Normally you would take it to Apple to get a new battery except a 5C is now vintage and service by Apple has been discontinued for it.

I kind of suspect you may want to start shopping for a newer iPhone. Even if you get it repaired by a third party service you are going to find it harder and harder using a device with old software while the rest of the tech world keeps on upgrading things.
