Yes. The Gold color on an 8 plus is much rosier than on a 6s Plus. It is in fact different, but that's the color Apple labels as Gold for the iPhone 8. There is no other gold color for an iPhone 8 Plus. That is it.
How do you find what color your phone is supposed to be. The company I bought my used iPhone from has told me repeatedly that they got the phone from Apple manufacturers and that they did not change the color. I paid for a gold one and they sent me a rose gold.
