My Podcasts app is SIGNIFICANTLY slower at loading (even podcasts that are downloaded) with iOS 14.6. Anyone else have this problem and have a fix?
iOS 14.5 update to Podcasts was bad, but this 14.6 so much worse. I hate it. Thinking of switching to another app.

Hate it! It changed the way I manage my podcast listening. I either keep or delete from my episode list because sometimes I don’t care about the topic of a new episode, and I don’t see a way to manage my organization like that anymore. Plus I can’t get anything to load anyway.

Yeah, it's a complete mess, especially since they added some extra battery draining as well.
I was a superloyal Podcast user, but will be switching to Spotify as the Podcast app is just completely useless now
The same for me. My iPhone 11 Pro is getting hot during 10-20 minutes after listening to podcast. Podcast app uses 80% of battery during this time! In fact I can't use Podcast App at all. At the moment my workaround is to subscribe to all my podcasts in Spotify. The same podcasts runs in Spotify for hours without any problems.
Nothing to hate. This new Podcast app is simply dead. Even I you success to start a podcast after many attempt you can't stop it as you will have to redo all the process. It has been long time since apple made my life worse.
I’m surprised there aren’t more complaints about this. I use podcasts all day everyday and this has just really messed things up. I’m on iPhone 11 Pro Max and it is terrible. Is it affecting all iPhones?
