Where is the "mail days to sync" setting in iOS 14.6?

I've always had my "mail days to sync" set to "no limit" so all my mail using Gmail on my iPhone 12 Pro Max & iPad Air 2 would sync & I could scroll back as long as I needed within my Gmail. Currently I can only go back about 8 months within my Gmail on my iPhone 12 Pro Max & not even 3 months on my iPad Air 2. I can't even find where the "days to sync mail" setting is even located in iOS 14.6. Does anyone know how to access it? Where is it located? It seems that with this update my mail settings got switched & I can't find anywhere to change it back to "no limit" within the settings in iOS 14.6.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, 14

Hello tlm574s,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you’re trying to adjust some Mail settings on your iPhone and iPad. We’d be happy to help out.

Do you see all of the emails when you log in online through the email providers website?

Take a look at the suggestions in If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

There are no settings for "mail days to sync" in the latest iOS version. If you’re missing emails, we would suggest either removing and adding the account back or reaching out to the email service provider (ESP) about these settings and how mail sync is managed as it may be vary depending on the ESP.

Have a great day.

When I log into mail.Google.com from my iPhone or iPad my Gmails still only go back 3-8 months. It's definitely not a ESP issue but rather an iOS issue because when I log into my Gmail account on my windows PC I can go back as many years as I need to. It's only on my iPhone & iPad using iOS 14.6. Certainly you have a solution by now for allowing Gmail (the most used email service) to be able to receive all one's emails from your devices (iPhone & iPad) using iOS 14? All kinds of people in macrumors have been having issues with this since the iOS 14 update came out of their emails not showing up- which a lot of people store a ton of valuable info in.
