So many 14.6 update camera issues and NO Solution!

I bought my XS Max 4 months ago and everything was fine. Immediately after I updated to 14.6, the both front and back camera only show black screen and torch does not work.

I have seen many people post with this same issue and I have not seen any meaningful response. The picture isn’t blurry. The case isn’t covering the camera. Both cameras only show black screen. Obviously Face ID doesn’t work either.

I just bought this phone and Apple has broken it with this update. How has Apple not addressed this at all even though there are so many people posting the same issue??!!

You are assuming all cameras are exactly the same which isn’t true.

There was something in 14.6 that caused the cameras to stop working. Everything was fine with 14.5.1. So I think a good place to start to fix the issue would be to revert back to14.5.1. I can do this myself. I just need Apple to let me use 14.5.1.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get an Apple signed version of 14.5.1 still?

I guess it’s the old formula: number of users effected/potential company impact < cost to fix issue = company doesn’t care

update: at apple store now and apparently they need to replace the cameras even though the problem is obviously related to the 14.6 update.

I get that there will be “lemons” and bugs. I just wish if the problem is directly related to an update, they would at least let me go back to previous iOS. Does anyone know how to get 14.5.1 apple signed iOS? From what I can find, they have stopped signing, so now I’m stuck. Just let me use the old software and it would be done.
