If you meant to ask the difference between the older MacBook Pro and the newer Apple-Silicon MacBook Pro, the fundamental difference is that the M1 is Apple's new M1 processor and Integrated graphics, loosely based on ARM designed processors but a different graphics processor.

M1 is faster, better, and simpler. But running a lot of todays software requires a translation, performed automatically at Application launch by Rosetta2 software. Most high-powered software from major makers has already been issued as M1-native, or will be soon.

M1 systems available today support a single external display as large as the Apple 6K display, but only that ONE in addition to the built-in display.

All M1 systems require Big Sur or later, which has more restrictions than previous MacOS requiring 64-bit clean and different use of kernel extensions. Software must be up-to-date to work.
