30w macbook adapter getting really hot

I bought brand new macbook air m1. I am using it since 2 days ago. I am charging it with it's original adapter and cable which are coming from the box. But I realized that the 30w power adapter is getting extremely hot while charging. Especially near of the inputs. I can't hold my finger on it after 45 mins of charging. Is this normal? Can apple send me a new one if its abnormal?
